Who we are

Two local engineers, not a faceless IT company

We are Jack and Jake, two IT engineers based in the Greater Manchester and Merseyside area. We spend our days working with Microsoft 365, security and small business systems, and we started Klariq to do it properly for businesses near us.

We are not a call centre and we are not here to baffle you with jargon or sell you things you do not need. If something is not worth doing, we will say so. Most of our work comes from people we have helped recommending us to someone they know, and that only happens if we are straight with people.

When you call, you get one of us. That is the whole point.

Why Klariq

The way IT support should be

Honest first

If you do not need something, we tell you. No upselling, no scare tactics, no jargon.

Fixed prices

You know the cost before we start. No day rates running away with your budget.

Genuinely local

Based in your area. A real person who answers, not a ticket in a far-away queue.

No tie-ins

Work with us because you want to, not because a contract traps you. Simple as that.

Good questions

The things people usually ask

Q Do I have to switch my whole IT provider to work with you?

No. We are happy to do one specific piece of work, like a Microsoft 365 setup or getting you Cyber Essentials ready, and leave the rest alone. You are not signing up to anything bigger.

Q What if I only need one of the three services?

That is completely fine and very common. Each service stands on its own. We will only ever suggest more if we genuinely think it would help you.

Q Are you going to tie me into a long contract?

No. The setup and Cyber Essentials work are one-off, fixed-price jobs. The support plan is monthly with no long tie-in. You stay because it is useful, not because you are stuck.

Q I am not technical at all. Will I understand what you are doing?

Yes, because we explain everything in plain English. You do not need to know anything technical. Translating the complicated stuff into something clear is exactly what we do.

Q Do you actually issue the Cyber Essentials certificate?

No, and nobody should claim to do everything. The certificate is issued by a licensed assessor. We do the hard part, getting you ready to pass, then point you to a trusted assessor for the final step.

Let's have a no-pressure chat

Tell us what is bothering you and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. If your setup is already fine, we will say so. No hard sell, ever.
