6. Cookies and website analytics
A cookie is a small file that a website stores on your device. We keep our use of cookies to a minimum, and we never use them for advertising.
Essential cookies. Our website is hosted by Netlify. A small number of cookies may be set to keep the site secure and working as it should. These are necessary for the site to function.
Analytics cookies. With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are read most, so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies (named "_ga" and similar) that stay on your device for up to two years. The information is collected in a form that does not identify you personally, and we do not use it for advertising or share it for advertising.
Our contact form. When you send an enquiry through our contact form, it is processed by Netlify, who host our website, so that your message reaches us. We then handle that information as described elsewhere in this policy.
Your choices. When you first visit, we ask whether you are happy for us to use analytics cookies. You can accept or decline, and you can change your choice at any time. You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work properly if you block essential ones.
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Ask us to delete your information, where there is no legal reason for us to keep it
- Object to or ask us to restrict how we use your information, in certain circumstances
- Ask us to provide your information in a portable format
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@klariq.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
8. How we protect your information
Security is what we do, so we take our own seriously. We use multi-factor authentication on all our accounts, a password manager for credentials, encrypted communication where practical, and we limit access to your information to the people who need it.
9. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first at info@klariq.co.uk so we can put it right.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK regulator for data protection, at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
