M365 Security Health Check

Find out how secure your Microsoft 365 really is.

from £349 · one-off, fixed price

A straight, no-nonsense review of your Microsoft 365 security. We check the things that actually catch businesses out, then give you a plain-English report with a simple red, amber and green rating.

What this is

Most small businesses have no real idea how secure their Microsoft 365 is. It might be fine. It might have wide-open holes nobody has ever looked at. The only way to know is to check, and that is exactly what this is: a one-off, fixed-price review of your Microsoft 365 security, done by people who do this for a living.

We are not here to scare you or sell you things you do not need. We look, we tell you honestly what we find, and we give you a clear report you can actually understand. If your setup is in good shape, that is great news and we will tell you so.

What we check

We go through the parts of Microsoft 365 that genuinely cause problems for small businesses. Here is what we look at, and each one gets a simple traffic-light rating in your report.

What we check
We go through the parts of Microsoft 365 that actually get businesses into trouble, and rate each one.
01
MFA Coverage
Whether multi-factor authentication is on for everyone, not just some accounts.
02
Admin Accounts
How many admins you have and whether those powerful accounts are properly secured.
03
Sharing & Guests
What is being shared outside the business, and who has guest access.
04
Mailbox Rules
Hidden forwarding rules, a classic sign an account has been compromised.
05
Legacy Logins
Old sign-in methods that skip modern security and leave a door open.
06
Malware Defences
Whether the built-in Microsoft protection is switched on and configured.
07
Email Protection
SPF, DKIM and DMARC, the records that stop people spoofing your email.
08
Old Accounts
Inactive accounts and leavers who somehow still have access.
09
Backup Cover
Whether your data is actually backed up, and could be restored if needed.

What you get

Everything included
  • A full review of the nine areas above
  • A plain-English report with a red, amber and green rating for each
  • A clear, prioritised list of what to fix first
  • A walkthrough of the findings so you actually understand them
  • Honest advice on what matters and what does not, with no scare tactics

An important point of honesty: this is a review, not the fixing. If we find things that need putting right, sorting them is covered by our separate Microsoft 365 Setup service. We will quote you for that work first, and only carry it out once you have accepted the quote. No surprise work, and no surprise bills.

Why bother with it

Because the things that go wrong with Microsoft 365 are almost always invisible until they bite. An account with no MFA, a forwarding rule quietly sending copies of your email to someone else, a member of staff who left a year ago but can still log in. None of these show up in your day to day until they cause a real problem. A health check finds them while they are still easy to fix.

It is also a sensible thing to do before you take on a bigger client or renew your insurance, both of which increasingly ask questions about how you handle security.
